Wild Lily Cabins
Vacation Rental and B&B
Your Gateway to the new Wild Sky Wilderness!
"Come forth into the light of things; let nature be your teacher."
William Wordsworth
If you want to be in the forest and on the river, then, Wild Lily is for you. Come stay in one of our cozy wood cabins in a Native Growth Protection Area near the town of Index, Washington, just 30 minutes west of Steven’s Pass.
We now offer two options for lodging and retreats:
(Please note that Wild Lily is a smoke and fragrance -free establishment. No smoking or use of perfume/cologne is permitted.)
1) Vacation Rental of fully equipped all wood Cabin-style House that has lots of charm, with option of adding one or both outside cabins.
2) Bed & Breakfast in one of our log-style cabins.
Here you can marvel at giant Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, carpets of moss, ... and walk on the secluded beaches, watch eagles soar or catch a steelhead, soak in the tub after skiing... Wild Lily Cabins is a place of rustic beauty, yet you will have the amenities of a large hot tub on the bank of the river, a cedar sauna, and a delicious hot breakfast.
Once you stay with us, you will come back!

For reservations call Barak at 360-793-2103 or email. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 306, Index, Wa 98256.
Enter the Wild Lily House
and you immediately feel enveloped by the cozy surroundings: hard wood floors, pine tongue & groove walls, river rock fire place, rainforest marble counter, displays of rocks and gourds and pottery that connect with the earth, and .... and large windows to the forest and canyon. The House is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, pots, pans, dishware, and more.
One of the features you'll notice here is that there is no "clearcut" around the House - you are in the forest. Crack open a window, and you can hear the river. The only traffic sound you're likely to hear is the train that occasionally passes 1/2 mile from here. In Spring, you'll certainly hear the birds.
If you don't want to venture out to the hot tub, you can soak in the claw foot tub. The bedroom is in the large open loft. Sleeping accommodations include a queen size log bed and full size bed. Attached to the bedroom, in one of the gables, is a small meditation/yoga room. Please - no shoes or food here.
Rates for Vacation Rental of Wild Lily:
House only, for 1 or 2 people: $175/night. Additional person (up to 4 total): +$25/person/night. Dog: +$15/dog/night.
House plus one cabin: $275/night. House plus both cabins: $375/night. Rates are for up to 2 people/ cabin.
We ask for a 2-night minimum. Holiday rate of $275 for the House may apply.
CABINS
Both cabins have a similar layout. The ground level has a living area with sofa or comfortable chairs, small table and chairs, pot belly stove, small refrigerator, radiant heater, and windows looking out to the forest. The loft, up a ladder, overlooks the canyon. Sleeping accommodations in the loft include a queen size bed and full size futon. Bathroom is in a separate bathhouse. There is no cooking in the cabins; however a charcoal grill is available for use outside.
Rates for Bed & Breakfast in one of the cabins:
Rates are same for the two cabins - $105 per weekday night, $118 per weekend night, for up to 2 people, and including a hot breakfast. Dogs are $15 additional per night and must be on leash outside. There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; however 1-night stays are periodically available. Additional people are $25 extra per night.
The big cabin (below) features a super-comfortable natural latex foam bed.

The little cabin (aka River Cabin) has a more bird's eye view of the river. It is also adjacent to the bathhouse.

Snow didn't last long last winter, but it was beautiful!

The hot tub is under a canopy of cedar trees, overlooking the canyon.

The bathhouse has a tropical look.

The cedar sauna is attached to the bathhouse.
Every season has
its own unique beauty.
Fall colors along the river and higher towards the pass, beckon the nature lover.

Spring sees a succession of flowers blooming, including these Rhododendrons.
Watch the salmon make their way upstream, just a mile north of here!
